Meet Bobbi

 
Hello welcome to Uniq driving academy my name is Bobbi and I am the founder of this unique driving school.

Previous to starting this school I worked for Vic Roads as a licence tester for 18 years.  After that for the next 11 years I worked as an Integration Aide working with students with varying differences which means they take longer to learn or utilise different mediums to learn.

During this I was doing a project with a student and we had to call local driving schools to find one that taught people like him with a mild intellectual disability and anxiety.  I was shocked to learn there is no one specifically trained to do this.  So the idea came to me that I could do that.  I had taught family and friends to drive and I had a 98% pass mark first time so so knew I could do it.  With my youth mental health first aide training and the ability to teach people with unique differences inspired me.  So welcome to UNIQ we look forward to working with you your journey to independence starts here!
